How is your liver?
This question seems like a curse to anyone asking it now, but it also seems like some kind of tacit greeting.
I touched and felt the area on my right side of the abdomen, a silent area with many organs. It never cried out to express pain, even though it was actually exhausted to the point of almost stopping its normal operation. The doctor has instructed that the liver is the only organ in the human body that does not have pain nerves, so by the time you really feel the "pain" in that area, it is basically the advanced stage of the disease.
How ironic it is that the "model worker" who decomposes toxins, metabolizes fat, and synthesizes protein for you every day does not even have the right to cry out about fatigue.
We, a group of people, endured the torment of the deepest night while reposting "Ten Foods to Nourish and Protect the Liver" in our circle of friends. While holding a wine glass and talking about a business worth millions, he stuffed a handful of "liver-protecting tablets" of unknown ingredients into his mouth.
This is not health care, this is giving red envelopes to the Lord of Hell, pretending to be a gift.
High sugar, high oil, high salt? That’s the “three-dimensional meat grinder” of the liver
I used to think that as long as I didn’t eat fat, it wasn’t high in fat.
Too naive.
Do you simply think that the milk cap in the cup of milk tea you drink is just "happy water"? Studies have shown that the lipids in high-fat foods can activate immune cells. Those activated cells, like security guards who have received wrong instructions, rush towards the liver to perform destructive actions and directly fight with liver cells.
The most hidden thing is sugar. That thing called "natural juice" is freshly squeezed and purely natural. But do you know? Ingesting a large amount of high-fructose products, such as fruit juice, honey, corn syrup, etc., is metabolized in the liver in the same way as alcohol. Not only will it directly cause you to suffer from "three highs", but the liver will also be filled with fat. You thought you were drinking a healthy drink, but actually what you were drinking was fat.

Let’s not mention edible oil for the moment. According to data from the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, 80% of households have an intake of edible oil that exceeds the standard. Each person consumes 42.1 grams of oil per day, while the recommended intake is only between 25 and 30 grams. As for those fried foods that exude an alluring aroma, each bite requires the liver to overload.
liquor? That is to fill the liver cells with Hedinghong.
This goes without saying.
After alcohol enters the human body, only 10% passes through the gastrointestinal route, and the remaining 90% of complex situations are handed over to the liver for processing. Acetaldehyde produced by the metabolism of alcohol is much more toxic than alcohol itself, and can directly cause fatty degeneration and necrosis of liver cells.
What is quite scary is the "gut-liver-brain axis", which is the gut-liver-brain axis. Alcohol destroys the intestinal barrier, causing bacteria in the intestine to leak out, attack the liver first along the blood stream, and then affect the brain. Therefore, people who drink alcohol not only have poor liver conditions, but also the brain...well, you understand.
Some injuries start from "loving yourself"
This is what I especially want to say recently.
There are too many people around, and I am superstitious about "conditioning".
All kinds of Chinese herbal medicines, popular weight loss pills on the Internet, and health care products imported from abroad were thrown into my mouth one by one. I always feel that "Chinese medicine is mild in nature and has no side effects" and "it is a supplement, not a medicine."
But the phrase "a medicine is three parts poisonous" does not only refer to Western medicine.
A case was published in the "American Journal of Gastroenterology". A 47-year-old healthy man consumed many different kinds of herbs and a variety of supplements in order to build muscle and increase his testosterone index. As a result, his liver function soared. Finally, all food was stopped, and the liver gradually recovered. Among those things is an item called "Tongkat Ali", which is said to be a "natural male hormone", but what is the result? I almost destroyed my liver.
There are also those compound cold medicines containing acetaminophen. Several cold medicines are mixed together and taken together. They think they have "double insurance", but they are actually double poisons. There was a young man who ate like this and eventually suffered liver failure. He was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) and could not be rescued.

We often mistakenly believe that eating certain things will be good for the body, but we ignore the most important function of the liver, which is to help us block those messy and various foreign substances.
### What to eat? Let’s talk about the watermelon in summer first
Don't worry, I'm not asking you to go on a hunger strike.
If your liver is not good, or if you want to nourish your liver, there are indeed some good things.
My favorite thing in summer is watermelon.
In the past, I only thought that watermelon had the effect of relieving heat and having a diuretic effect. After some research, I found out that the protease contained in watermelon can convert insoluble proteins into soluble ones, and the glycosides it contains can also reduce blood pressure. For patients with liver disease, watermelon acts as a diuretic to reduce swelling and remove excess moisture from the body, thus reducing the burden on the liver.
Of course, don't chill it. It's at room temperature and has a chewy texture. It tastes sweet and makes your liver feel comfortable.
### Banana, a little sweet for people with liver depression
Traditional Chinese medicine talks about stagnation of liver qi. For people who are sulky and stressed, bananas are very suitable.
It is not very high in calories and has comprehensive nutrition, including vitamins A, C, protein and potassium, especially the B vitamins, which assist in the detoxification process of alcohol in the liver.
Whenever I drink before and after I drink, I make a point of eating some bananas. I don’t know if this is due to psychological effects, but I didn’t feel so uncomfortable the next day.
### Grape, the purple "cleaner"

The polyphenols in grape skins and seeds are scavengers of free radicals.
What are free radicals? It is the "rust"-like substance produced by the body during the metabolic process. Liver cells are in a state of struggle with these "rust"-like substances every day. The antioxidants contained in grapes are equivalent to sending an army of reinforcements to the liver to help it clean up the battlefield.
So at this moment I am eating grapes, but as long as they are grapes without seeds, I will try not to spit out the skins. Although it tastes a little astringent, as long as your liver is suffering for you, this astringency is nothing.
In the process of writing, I once again recalled what the doctor said. That sentence is that there are no "absolutely safe" drugs in the world, only "absolutely safe" ways of using them.
In fact, this sentence can be modified: in this world, there are no foods that can "absolutely nourish the liver", but only living habits that "will never cause damage to the liver".
Staying up one less night is more effective than eating three kilograms of grapes.
One less heavy drink is more effective than ten bowls of liver-nourishing soup.
Taking one less inexplicable "miracle medicine" is better than eating any fruit afterwards.
Don't forget to wait until the arrow indicating "transaminase" on the physical examination sheet is pointing upwards before you start to remember to touch the silent corner over there.
It's too tired, let it rest.
Tonight, go to bed early.
